Good news, better news, and the best news!!

So the good news is I lost yet another pound this week!! YAHOO! Now I am down to 123, only have 5 pounds to go reach my goal!! I can't believe that I have even lost any weigh, because I still feel like I eat things that are bad for me. Damn those little 100 calorie chocolate cakes. They are so freaking good! I am about to go to the grocery store and am hoping to find some new exciting healthy, low calorie foods!!

The better news is that Kara rolled over for the first time earlier this week! I was so happy that I was clapping and yelling like a fool. I was just so worried about it with all the books I was reading saying she was due to be doing that already. I know, I know all children are different. I was just worried that she hadn't reached that milestone like she had all the other ones. She is usually advanced in most things. Now I know I will be wishing she couldn't roll over, cause she's going to be rolling all over the place.

The best news is that in a little over a week from now my husband should be home. I am so excited to see him. I know that things could still happen and delay this happy reunion but I am keeping my fingers crossed. I really hope Kara remembers him. In my little fantasy world she will see him and smile. I hope to have my camera handy for that moment.

Good news and a birthday!

First let me start with telling my wonderful husband HAPPY BIRTHDAY. While it was his birthday here yesterday it's still his birthday in the states. Nick- I wish so badly that we could have been together on your birthday. I hate all the things we have missed together since you've been gone. I just hope and pray that you will be home soon. We miss you so much. When you get home we have so much to celebrate: our anniversary, Kara's milestone, and your birthday. I really hope we get to take advantage of that week you will be getting off of work to have some fun as a family. We love you!!
So now for the good news.... yesterday I sold our car!! I've had it up for sale for 3 weeks, which seemed like a long time, but it sold and for our asking price!!! I was so happy about that. I was willing to go lower on the price if we needed to but luckily it didn't come to that. I am about to go cancel the insurance on it and get some refund back from that too. I feel so happy to be able to put the money in our savings. Lord knows it's going to come in handy with our trip back to the states that we have planned for December! I can't wait! And to make yesterday an even better day... I lost a pound. I have been trying to do a whole new way of life thing with our food. I have changed all the pastas over to multi grain or wheat, brown rice. I have been doing my best to eat healthier and with lower fat content. While I don't believe I am fat, I feel that I need to lose a few pounds and be able to maintain that weight. Therefore I am doing this lifestyle change before Nick gets home so we can do it together. I had made it back to my prepregnacy weight of 125 probably two and half months after Kara was born. Before I got pregnant with Conner I was 120 and was pretty happy at that weight. After having him I never got back there. So now I am determined to make it to 120 and would really love to be 118. But even more important I want to look in the mirror and think I look firmer than I am. I know that's going to take working out, which I really hope to do when Nick gets home. I try to do little work outs here at home, but it's hard with a baby. I figure that I need to take the best care of my body that I can. That's why I am starting now before it's too late or too discouraging to do. I hope you all have a nice day. Oh and it you want to get some healthy recipes jump over to my MIL's (Kari http://grannyskywalker.blogspot.com) blog and check out her new post with a few to try. Have a great day!

New Do

Not my best picture, but my husband requested a pic. I was about to go to bed (I'm in my PJs and all) so forgive my tired look. You can kind of see the layers.

I took this one so you could see the highlights. Looks natural huh? That was the idea!

I had such a great day today! I went and got my hair done (highlights and cut) and it was wonderful. I had the same Japanese lady, Mika, as I did last time. She is AWESOME. I love when I find a hair dresser that I can trust. She always does exactly what I ask for. I took Kara along, praying that she would be good, and she was the BEST little baby ever! She spent about 45 minutes singing. She loves to listen to herself squeal and scream. It's her new thing these days. I will try to post a video of it soon. It's just too cute. Anyway, she sat there for almost 3 hours just entertaining herself. (She slept for about 20 mins.) Only at the very end did she fuss a little, but it wasn't too much. I was a very proud mama, so I went to the shoppette and bought her the Curious George movie as a reward. Okay so I really wanted to buy it and they had it so I had to convince myself that was the reason why. lol

Anyway, I have to tell you that when I got my hair washed I was in HEAVEN! She really took her time and scrubbed my head. She also massaged it. WOW! I can't tell you how great it was. The Japanese are known for giving men shoulder/head massages after they cut their hair (I have always been jealous that I don't get the same treatment). So today was a special treat. It felt great. I was about to fall asleep (she washed/massaged for 20 mins). When I was done I almost couldn't stand up because I was in a trance. It was so wonderful and the color is just incredible. I love, love, love it! The picture really doesn't do it justice. If it didn't cost almost $100, I would probably go more often. Just had to share my wonderful day with you all. Have a great one yourself!!!

Before I go here's Kara's new do. I couldn't resist myself from doing it. Nick, I know you hate it but it's just too cute. Don't worry I didn't bring her in public like that. Doesn't she look sweet? Awww!

Kara's first friend, Chardae....

They are too funny in this pic. They are 2 months and 2 days apart. Kara of course is the older one. She looks so big compared to Chardae.
They were way too cute together!
Here's Chardae with her mommy, Britteny and Kara with me. Britteny and I have been friends for about 2 years now. We were pregnant together. We are hoping to have play dates for the girls as they grow.

I did it!!

I lost ALL my baby weight in just 3 months. That was so awesome to find out this morning. It was the first time I had stepped on the scale in a week. Last week I still had 2 pounds to go. I am so excited about this. However, I still have a lot of toning up to do. I am well on my way to getting my body back the way I want it. I have been eating a lot healthier and only eating snacks with 100 calories or less. My favorite dessert is sugar free fudge pops. They are awesome and only 40 calories. You gotta try them. It helps when you have a chocolate craving. I have been eating smaller portions also which seems to be helping. Just wanted to share some of my joy. Have a great day!

What if ??

Jana tagged me a while back with this fun little game of what ifs. I also received a smooch from Aunt Sandi a while ago that I can't for the life of me remember if I posted or not. So if I didn't thank you Aunt Sandi, right back at you!! And now let the games begin....

What ifs:

What if I could meet someone in the art world to chat with....I would choose someone that inspires me. I wasn't too bad at it either. I used to draw as a teen and it kept dying down. Now I never draw anymore. I would pick someone that would get me back to it. I miss it sometimes.

What if I could have one wish granted for the benefit of all mankind.... I would choose for everyone that wants a child to be able to have one without complications. In return I would make the ones that don't want children to be unable to produce them. I know so many people, including myself, that have had issues having a child. All of these women want children so badly. It seems so unfair for those women when you have thousands that never wanted any children and end up with 3 or 4. That way children would be taught better and we would have less problems in our society dealing with mommy issues.

What if I could travel anywhere in the world.... it would be to Europe. I believe Italy (for the food) and France (for the sights) are my top two.

What if I could live in another time than the present, for 24 hours....I would choose to go back to when my mom was a kid, just to see how different life was for her and all my other elders. I think it may help me form a new appreciation for things.

What if I could make over three areas of my body.... hands down in this order: thighs (smaller without cellulite), arms (more muscular), and breast (larger).

What if I could become an animal for 24 hours....I would be a monkey so I could hang from the trees. It sounds like fun. LOL

What if I could bring someone back to life for 24 hours.... it would be my son. Just thinking of having an opportunity like that brings tears to my eyes. Every second of that day I would hold him and tell him how much he means to me. I would let him know how much I wish he was here all the time. How I wish I could see him grow up. I think just staring at him would be awesome.

Reality

The other day I was talking to my mother-in-law about how I think turning 30 is going to be really hard for me. She said that 30 was harder for her than any other age. We concluded that it's because when you are younger you think 30 is old. No, I don't think that anymore, but I do believe that my 30th birthday will bother me.

While driving down the road a few days ago, I realized my birthday isn't too far away. I will be turning 27, which is still kind of your mid-twenties, so it shouldn't bother me. However, I believe it does. I certainly don't feel that old, I feel more of a 20 year old. Why does age matter? It is after all a number. Like I said, I don't feel that old. Sometimes I still feel like that same girl I was in high school, just more mature. I wouldn't want to go back to being a teenager, but my early twenties were a fun age. My teenage years were filled with endless drama that now would drive me insane. I know people say they want to go back to that age because you have less responsibility and worries, but I just don't think it's for me. I have become so much more independent since high school and I like that. I know that I can be in a house by myself and not be scared. I have lived by myself for months at a time and been fine with it. I don't necessarily ever want to live that way again, but I at least know I can do it. I remember one night in high school, I spent by myself and was scared to death. Every noise made me jump and I barely slept. I feel fortunate to know that I can take care of myself. However, having said that, I am not sure I enjoy that my age keeps going up. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to lock into an age and stay that way for you whole life? Getting older reminds me that everyone I know is getting older too. The older you get the more people die, the bigger your kids get, and time goes by quicker and quicker. I guess the only thing to do is enjoy whatever age you are in and never take things for granted. Live you life in whatever age you feel you are not what age you actually are. Life is certainly more fun that way.

38. I like getting my haircut, because it makes me feel refreshed. However a day or two later I usually hate they cut. Figures!

39. I am always tired. I don't know why. I can blame it on pregnancy now but before that I was tired then too. Who knows, maybe I am anemic or something.

40. I already have gray hairs. Yeah, seven of them to be exact. But I have learned to deal with them. I am going to hold out on that whole dyeing my hair thing for a while.

41. Today would have been my original wedding day. We planned on November 15th as our wedding day but with the military stuff we had to move it up. But I am glad we did. November has been an interesting month for us every year.

43. My parents split up a week before my 9th birthday but they didn't get divorced until I was 17 years old.

44. I love that purple/blue stone tanzanite. It is really pretty, but so expensive. I have a few pieces of jewelry with it.

45. I feel better about myself when I am tan. I know it's superficial but I can't help it. It just makes me feel better.

46. I love to veg out sometimes. I love all of it: mud masks, foot scrub, candles, music, and a nice warm bath, with bubbles of course.

47. I don't like flying, which by the way stinks when your family lives across the ocean. Hopefully I will only have to do it a few more times.

48. I never liked people touching my feet until I came to Japan. They get the best pedicures. Seriously if you ever come here you gotta get one.

49. I want all the furniture in my house to be cherry wood. I love it. I just think dark wood looks classy.

51. I love to bake. Well not all the time, but when I am in the mood to it is so much fun.

52. I have had two miscarriages. The first one I had just found out I was only about 6 weeks along. It made me sad, but it wasn't too terrible because I was still dealing with the loss of my son and I know I wasn't ready for another baby yet. That baby would have been due on Valentine's Day. The second one was way more traumatizing for me. We had been trying to get pregnant for about 7 months. So when we found out I was thrilled. I didn't get to see a doc until I was about 10 weeks. They didn't find a heartbeat. So I had to wait and miscarried at 11 1/2 weeks. It was very terrible and traumatizing. That baby was due this last October on the 4th. I will always remember them.

53. I was born on Eglin Air Force Base in Florida in 1981.

54. I am afraid of sharks, snakes, rats, fire, and flying.

56. I have major trust issues. I don't trust many people I can name them all on one hand. Seriously.

57. They only person in my life that never hurt my feelings or upset me was my grampie. He passed away 3 years ago this weekend. I miss him!!

58. I love some cherry Coke, that stuff is addicting. I try not to drink it too much. YUM!!

59. All the kids I know call me Jo Jo. It was kind of annoying at first but now I like it. I think it's cute.

60. As a child I would sit Indian style and then get up on my knees and walk with my legs still Indian style sounds weird but I bet I could still do it.

61. I used to love hot chocolate, well I still do, but now I have replaced it will French Vanilla flavored hot chocolate. It is to die for, I drink it all the time.

62. I love to decorate for Christmas. There's nothing better than getting it all out with Christmas music in the background and taking sips from your hot cider or chocolate. It is the best feeling ever.

63. Once I feel a nip in the air I automatically get in a better mood. I don't know what it is. Works every time.

64. I associate some smells with different memories or people. I've heard many people do this, so I can't be too crazy.

65. I ADORE Christmas music. I have many favorites but nothing beats "The Christmas Song". Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose, tiny tots.... okay so I will stop. I love, love, love that song.

66. I love pictures, which is probably why I am so into scrapbooking. I love them so much that I always want to look at people's albums when I visit them. It's a sickness.

67. My wedding day was so much fun and exciting. I was never nervous, just happy and anxious to be Mrs. Adams.

68. I am dying for a new camera with a huge lens that doesn't take for ever to take a picture. My husband says they are too expensive, but one day he will give in. After all his flat screen wasn't too cheap either.

69. I am so thankful for Vonage. Otherwise we would still be paying out the tail end for international calls with less talking time. Thank you VONAGE!!

70. I was a Daisy and a Brownie in Elementary school. It was fun getting together and helping the community.

71. I went trick or treating the last time when I was 16 years old, but it was for can goods for the homeless. I tell you it was much more rewarding than all that candy.

72. My favorite child's book is called, "Love you, forever." You know the saying, "I love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be." So sweet.

73. I have such long fingers. My hands are the size of my husbands. It is crazy. My great grandmother said I had the hands of a pianist. Sadly, I never learned how to play.

74. I have never smoked a cigarette, not even a puff. I never tried any drugs either. It wasn't my thing.

75. The first time I ever got drunk, I was 18 years old and in college. For some reason this amazes people my age.

76. You know what's great. A cold day with Chili for dinner. It warms you up and makes you feel all cozy inside. I know I keep referring to cold times. I live on a tropical island, I miss cold weather SO bad!!

77. I don't make friends very easily. I used to in school, but things are different now. People aren't as good as you would like to think they are.

78. I can't stand it when my house is a mess. It drives me crazy. I say this as I look around thinking I need to get my butt off the computer and into that bathroom to clean it. AGHHHH!

79. He-man was my hero when I was a child. I thought he was the coolest thing ever. I even played with the action figures.

80. Swimming pools are great. You don't have to worry about anything biting your toes or coming after you.

81. People used to tell me I looked like Katie Holmes before she married that crazy Tom Cruise.

82. I love the new fad with colors mixed with brown. Like pink and brown or light blue and brown. It is so pretty.

83. I don't like writing with pencils. Pens are much better. I even do crosswords in pen. Oh yeah and I do love crosswords. I do them all the time.

84. I've never dated anyone with dark eyes. They always had either green or blue eyes.

85. I think the greatest thing in the world is when you feel your baby kick in pregnancy. I love it so much. This one is very active as far as I can tell. I only feel it a few times a day but it's still so small.

86. I was very lonely growing up as an only child, I missed my brother all the time. I always wished he would have lived. I also wished I had an older brother.

87. I love giving gifts. It gets me excited. I always hope I will get something to make the other person happy.

88. As a child I thought that you had to shave your arms when you got older. I am not sure why. I never saw anyone do it. It was some crazy thing I came up with.

89. When I pictured the person I was going to marry I had a list of things I didn't want like some one in the military, previously married, and no kids. Well, I ate my words and am happy for it.

90. One of my favorite places in the world is in my husband's arms. I feel safe there.

91. My mom and I are closer now than we have ever been. She gets me and I get her. How thankful I am for that.

92. I am terrible at responding to emails. I sometimes take weeks, okay months to reply. I embarrass myself with it.

93. My grandmother (Mawmaw), although she was kind of crazy, was one of my best friends. I still can't get over her passing. I catch myself wanting to call her often. I knew she was there for me no matter what, and always on my side.

94. I am scared to death of being a mother. I don't have a clue how to raise a baby. I mean I guess it comes naturally, right? Let's hope so or I am in for a rude awakening.

95. Roller coasters terrify me. I used to be into that kind of thing, then I matured. Now I am like, "You want me to go make myself sick and possible get hurt on that thing? No way, man I like my feet on the ground!!"

96. When I get angry I keep things in, I have such a hard time talking about how I feel. I sometimes think I am a ticking time bomb. I feel sorry for whoever unleashes that anger.

97. Blogging is a huge release for me. I sometimes need to get things out and it's a great outlet.

98. My new business has me stressing big time. I feel like it is never going to take off. I mean I know you have to spend money out at first in order to get it started. But man am I read for some payback. I have my 2nd party tomorrow night so we will see!!

99. I love the feel of cold sheets when I first get into bed. It feels awesome. I am glad it's almost bed time!!

100. Wow, I made it! I can't believe I am done. So my final thing will have to be how much I love all my family. They are my world, my everything. If I never met another friend and had them by my side I would be content. Thank God for family and REAL friends like April. Without them I would be totally lost. TRULY!

Another tag..

It's true I have been tagged again by Aunt Sandi. So I have to tell you 7 things about you you didn't know. I am pretty open about my life and things about me, but I am going to do my best to think of things you wouldn't know. So here it goes:

1. While laundry is my favorite chore around the house I am not so great at it. Well, okay so I am good at washing, drying, and folding them up, but not so great with bleach and ironing. I just started using bleach about 8 months ago. Before then I never used it, therefore we probably always had dingy whites. I know it's horrible but hey I've got the hang of it now. Oh and ironing, well lets just say it doesn't happen. EVER. If anyone irons in the house it is my husband. Hey that's what my dryer and dryer sheets are for. I just toss them in there for a few minutes and Viola, most of the wrinkles are gone.

2. I used to be a good artist(at pencil drawings) when I was in school. I was even accepted to a art school in high school, but I backed out because I didn't think I was good enough to make a career out of it. My mom still has some of my drawings at her house.

3.I can't remember a time in my life that I didn't believe in God. As far back as I can remember I have always believed in him and heaven. I was saved at the age of 12 but I was a believer long before that. I think it's weird when people don't believe in God.

4. I was always in the advanced classes in school, but I never seemed to do as good as my friends on tests. I hate taking test. I think I have test anxiety.

5. I like to eat blueberry waffles with peanut butter and syrup on top. It is so good, but a lot of people think I am weird for liking it. You should try it. Mmmmmm.

6. I don't watch the news. Nope not my thing. It is entirely too depressing for me. I am always the last to know about world events for this reason.

7. Finally...hmmmm. Okay so last but not least I will tell you how my Tinkerbell obsession came about: I always thought she was cute but when my family when to Disney one year. All my aunts and uncles along with my mom took my cousins and me to a place where you dress up as Disney characters. I of course was Tinkerbell. So in high school I had that nickname for a while so it made me start collecting some things with her on it. So now I am really into the Tinkerbell thing. No I am not hugely obsessed with her but I do like the stuff. I think I sometimes try to push her on Maddy so I have an excuse to buy the stuff. Crazy I know.

So there you have it 7 things about me you probably didn't know. So I know I am supposed to tag 7 people but with my lack of blogging buddies I am only able to come up with a few so here goes:

1. Sissy- cause you always have the funniest things to tell about yourself.

2. Abbie- my newest friend on here I wanted to tag you to learn more about you, but I see someone beat me to it.

And well that's about it, if anyone else reads my blog then you can consider yourself tagged also. Happy blogging.

The name game

So I have been tagged again. I do enjoy it, but I have a long middle name so we will see. The rules are you have to use every letter from your middle name and put a fact about yourself starting with that letter. If you don't have a middle name then you are supposed to use a name you would like as your middle name. So here it goes:

Conner my son, made me the happiest and saddest that I have ever been in my life. The happiest because while I was pregnant I was so excited about being a mother. He gave me that gift. The saddest because his life was very short, only three breaths long. I feel fortunate to have had him with me every minute of his life except for the last one.

Hot is a feeling that I don't like. I want to move somewhere that actually has a fall and a winter. This tropical island is frying my brain.

Everyday is a blessing, some are better than others, but I am thankful for my life.

Rollercoasters scare me to death. I used to like them, but now they make me sick.

In my dreams I am pregnant with a healthy baby. Maybe one day it will become a reality.

Scrapbooking is my favorite hobby. I do it to relieve my stress. I find myself daydreaming about scrapbooking when I am somewhere I don't want to be. Crazy I know!!

Apples are great, the taste, the smell, the colors of them. I love it all.

So i did it!! WOO HOO! So I know you are supposed to tag as many people as your there are letters in your name, but I don't know more than two people that blog and one of them tagged me and the other person I know. So if any other bloggers out there read this then you need to consider yourself TAGGED!!!

Terrible Twos!

Okay Sissy I am copying your blog so here it goes:

1. Two names you go by: Jodie and Jo

2. Two things you are wearing right now: My wedding ring (which I love because it's not just your ordinary wedding set, it has sapphires in it too.) And a necklace my mom gave me that has a hear with a baby in it. She gave it to me after I gave birth to my son. The box said "You grew in my heart!" I love it so much. These are two things I almost never take off.

3. Two things you want in a relationship: First and foremost I want Faithfulness and then of course Love. I believe that when you are married you need to only have intimacy with one person. You have to be able to trust that you are their one and only. You should only share the intimate part of yourself with your other half. I believe that makes you closer and makes things more special. And Love, well how can you be in a relationship their either doesn't already have or is working toward love? You need to genuinely care about someone for a relationship to work. I could go on about this but hey that's another blog.

4. Two of your favorite things to do: Well that's easy! Scrapbook, of course, it is the best stress reliever for me. Hang out with family and friends.

5. Two things you want very badly at the moment: To be pregnant with a healthy baby and to build my savings account back up.

6. Two pets you had/have: Anakin (my adorable yorkie) and Chloe (my beautiful long haired white cat).

7. Two people who will fill this out first: Well the only two people that read my blog and have a blog are Sissy(who I got this from) and Aunt Sandi. So maybe Aunt Sandi will do one too.

8. Two things you did last night: I did a few scrapbook pages and watched The Little Rascals with my family.

9. Two people that live in your house: Nick (my husband) and Maddy (my step-daughter).

10. Two people you talked to last: My husband and my neighbor, Tangela!

11. Two things you are doing tomorrow: Making brownies and going to a scrapbook thing. It will be my first one to scrapbook with other people. I am kind of excited we will see how it goes. I will let you know!!

12. Two longest car rides: From Pennsylvania to Florida. That was went we left my dad. We left on April 5th and got there on April 14th (the day before my 9th birthday). Then from Florida to Texas. We went to visit my in laws when they moved out there. We also went to Six Flags out there. The ride was about 12 hours.

13. Name 2 of your favorite holidays: Thanksgiving (for the food and gathering of people) and Christmas (for the decorations and everyone seems happier). Wasn't that almost a given?

14. Two favorite beverages: It's funny because I always say lemonade, but I hardly ever drink it. But I do love it when it is just the right blend of sweet and sour. My second would be French Vanilla hot chocolate. I love that stuff. I can't get enough of it!!

Okay so I did it. I hope it doesn't bore you too much. I don't have that interesting of a life it seems. But I enjoy it nonetheless. Happy blogging!!

Always a romantic!

So I will admit it, I am a romantic movie fanatic. I love to watch sappy movies. I like when they have humor too, but I am crazy for some romance. The movies pictured are some I could watch over and over. Of course The Notebook is my all time favorite, I loved the book even more. Which brings me to a thought. Nicholas Sparks needs to get a new book out. I have read ALL of his books and love them! The only part that sucks is he writes one book a year. I can't stand having to wait that long to read his books. I know it takes a while to write a book but dang he needs to get a new one out. The last one I read was last Christmas. I am getting impatient!! So I looked and his next book is due out September 25. I can't wait. Anyone else out there Nicholas Sparks fans? I think all women and men for that matter should read the Notebook (my husband even liked it). It is the best love story. Oh and the sequel is great too, it's called The Wedding. Happy reading.

Flaking out

So you know how you get a sunburn on your head and eventually it peels? Well, I got sunburned last week a little. I didn't realize my head was burnt. I knew when I brushed my hair it kind of hurt, but didn't think anything of it. I mean really how often does your scalp burn?So a few days ago I noticed a pretty big flake in my hair. I was like oh great, that's embarrassing. However, I didn't realize anyone would call me on it. So I went to my mom's workplace and met an older lady. After introductions she goes, "What did you get into honey? There's something all in your hair!" I thought to myself, " Oh thanks, I really wanted to be reminded of my head flaking off." And it just keeps getting worse. I hate sunburns. It sucks because I can't tell everybody that I had a sunburn and that's why my hair has white things all in it. I'm just surprised no one's handed me a bottle of Head & Shoulders yet.

8 Random Facts

Okay so I've been tagged and now I have to come up with 8 random facts about me. Oddly enough this isn't too hard for me. I have many weird things about me. Ha ha. So here goes:

1. I have to have my closet both color coordinated and done by which type of shirt or pants they are. I am not sure when I started this, I think sometime in high school. I really want it that way always, if it gets out of line I can't handle it.

2. I don't really like talking on the phone. Now anyone who knows me may not know this because if someone calls or if I call someone I do talk for a while, but really it's not my thing. It used to be when I was a teenager but now I find myself putting off calling people and sometimes I do that with emails too. I don't like writing emails either. Geez!!

3. I have become a flip flop fanatic. I used to hate flip flops, I didn't like the way they felt between my toes. I guess living on an island has changed me to an official beach bum. I dress down and wear flip flops. Comfort is everything to me.

4. I hate being the center of attention. I don't like compliments because I never know what to say. Of course I say "Thank You" but it makes me so nervous. I never look the person in the eye when they compliment me. The funny part is I like being complimented but not face to face. I know I am weird!!

5. I am terrified of raising children. I love children, but I just don't know how well I am going to do raising one. My husband is sweet and says I will be the best mother in the world, but I have my doubts. I could list several reasons why I believe this. For instance, I like to sleep, who with a baby can really sleep? I loose my temper at times when I am annoyed with my dog. I scream like a mad woman. Am I going to be like that with a baby? I have so many insecurities. Let's hope my motherly intuition will kick in when the time comes.

6. I pine over things. I worry too much. Hopefully one day I will get over this.

7. I eat M&Ms and Reese's pieces by the color. I don't eat one color until the other color is all gone. Not sure why I do that, I guess I find it entertaining. LOL

8. I like to make all the baby toys sing and talk when I go down the toy isle anywhere. My favorite is the little Elmos I like all the different ones. When I do have a kid, we will have Elmos everywhere. :)

Okay so now that I have proved what a crazy person I am I think I will go now.
