Some new scraps:click to enlarge!

My mom wanted to see some of the pages I have been working on and this is the easiest way to share them. I have been sticking to my one page a day rule pretty well. I am happy to say I have done 48 pages since I got home from the states. Pretty impressive huh? I am going to apologize for the poor quality of the pictures. I took them in a hurry and didn't take time to edit them, but you get the gist of it. Enjoy!

I apologize that this one isn't turned the right way. I am too tired to change it.

I'm back, well sort of...

She was the cutest little baby in this dress!
Hey Grandpa! I love this pic, so cute!

My niece, Skye! I adore this kid.

Back off ladies, he's all mine!

The prettiest girls around!

I know it's been forever and a day since I last blogged. I was in the states with family for a little over a month and then came home and got the flu. YUCK! It's been crazy around here. We had a WONDERFUL trip back to the states and an even better Christmas. I hope you all had a great time too. I have tons of pictures to share, but that will take me a while. I got the greatest gifts from my hubby: a new Canon Rebel camera (with all the fixings) and The Sweetheart Cottage II painting by Thomas Kinkade. I am a lucky woman! I am still trying to learn about my new camera, but once I get the hang of it I will be unstoppable. I can't wait! I am really tired so I am going to add a few pics and head to bed. I promise it won't be another month before I come back again. :)

My new obsession!

For years I have been mesmerized by pictures just like this. I have always thought it was so cool. But even at Sears it cost like 5 extra dollars a picture so I've never had any like this. So finally, with the assistance of my friend Amy, I figured out how to do it on Photoshop. I have been playing with it all night. It is so much fun. Don't you just love it?

Printer issues

I tried to load my printer on my computer after it had crashed and it wouldn't work without the disc, which I apparently had thrown away. I was very angry trying to figure out what to do. I called my father in law, Randey, to get him to help me. He told me how to download it from the Internet. So I got it going and right before it was done it said it had failed. So I get my husband up here to help and turns out we have to buy the disc. That was a two weeks ago....

So a few days ago I get the disc in the mail. I was so excited. What is a scrapbooker without pictures??? I have been going nuts not being able to print pics out from my mom's visit. So I get everything set up and put the disc in. It goes almost all the way and says it failed again. I get my father in law's advice again, maybe it's my antivirus blocking it. So I try again with it turned off and still it doesn't work. I am at a loss for what to do. It is driving me bananas. I have my baby shower this weekend and won't be able to scrapbook the prints??? That is not cool. Sure I could put all my pics on a disc and go print them at the BX, but at 33cent a pic, I don't think so. So here I am mad and irritable because I can't scrapbook anything new. YUCK, YUCK, YUCK!!

Thank you for my award!!

So my mother in law, Sissy, gave me the Nice Matters award!! I have been meaning to thank her for it and am just now getting to it. How wonderful to receive an award! I haven't received an award since I was in High school. Sissy~ The kind things you wrote about me touched my heart. If you hadn't already been awarded I would give you one also, no not to return the favor, but because not many people get along with their in laws. I mean really, they don't. And lucky for me we have formed somewhat of a bond haven't we? So maybe it's because we both adore my husband or that we both LOVE scrap booking(I am so happy that I introduced you!!!) but either way I am thankful for it. It's funny thinking back on when Nick and I were dating; I actually liked coming over to your house for the family gatherings. Not many can say that of their in laws. I thank God that I have you and Randey as my in laws. I couldn't think of any other couple that I would like to share that with. Trust me, I've had some boyfriends' parents that were just a tad loopy. So thank you for my award, I will cherish it always.
