HER video

So here is the first video. You have to tell me if you saw what Nick and I did. I was so glad to figure out how to convert the video to a DVD. I am sending both my mother in law and mom one. Technology is just so awesome these days. I tried to put the whole video on here but apparently that is too large of a file so I cut it down, but you get the best part of it. You can also see her enormous foot!!! But she's a beauty isn't she? I didn't notice a pointed nose or that she was fat, just some chubby cheeks. Guess my doctor doesn't really know what she's talking about. LOL

*This post has been the biggest pain in my rear just to let you know. Being that my blogger has converted itself back to Japanese doesn't help the matter. LOL

Christmas movies ROCK!!

Oh my goodness, I hate to admit this but I have never seen "It's a Wonderful Life", I know how can I call myself a fan of Christmas when I haven't watched one of the old classics? (I hear you Sissy and Aunt Sandi, smack my wrist for this one). Well, truth is I have no idea why I have never watched this movie, I know I have seen bits and pieces of it. I know you have read about my complaints of this islands' lack of things to buy, but today I am praising them. Last year they put out a measly 5 Christmas movies that were all crap except for Jack Frost, which I bought. This year they actually stepped up to the plate. They have GOOD movies like The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2 (can't wait for the 3rd to come out next week), All I Want for Christmas, and to my astonishment It's a Wonderful Life Collectors Edition. So I swiped it up for $17.95. It includes both the black and white and newly restored versions. So I have a date to watch it this weekend. I know I will love it. What's not to love??? So today I am thankful for Christmas movies because they always have a nice ending. You know they are supposed to teach you the true meaning of Christmas. It's not about the gifts or decor (although the decor is wonderful) but about family and Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior! That my friends is why sing it with me, "It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Always a romantic!

So I will admit it, I am a romantic movie fanatic. I love to watch sappy movies. I like when they have humor too, but I am crazy for some romance. The movies pictured are some I could watch over and over. Of course The Notebook is my all time favorite, I loved the book even more. Which brings me to a thought. Nicholas Sparks needs to get a new book out. I have read ALL of his books and love them! The only part that sucks is he writes one book a year. I can't stand having to wait that long to read his books. I know it takes a while to write a book but dang he needs to get a new one out. The last one I read was last Christmas. I am getting impatient!! So I looked and his next book is due out September 25. I can't wait. Anyone else out there Nicholas Sparks fans? I think all women and men for that matter should read the Notebook (my husband even liked it). It is the best love story. Oh and the sequel is great too, it's called The Wedding. Happy reading.
